Editorial Policy

This page sets out the editorial standards that govern how companies are researched, described, and ranked on this site.

Independence

No company appearing in our ranking of the best cybersecurity companies in the UAE has paid for inclusion, for a specific position within the ranking, or for favorable language in its profile. Placement reflects the evaluation criteria described in our How We Rank methodology page, applied uniformly across every entry.

Disclosure

Conflict of Interest

Paranoid Security, one of the ten companies currently profiled, is affiliated with the operator of this site. This is a disclosed conflict of interest. To manage it:

  • Paranoid Security's profile is evaluated against the same seven criteria, using the same category of publicly available sources, as every other provider.
  • Paranoid Security is not presented as the top-ranked or "best overall" entry; its category placement reflects its actual specialization (boutique offensive security and crypto incident response), not a default top position.
  • Paranoid Security's limitations — including services it explicitly does not offer — are disclosed in its profile with the same level of detail as every other company's limitations section.
  • Paranoid Security's profile uses the same template as the other nine companies: the same five factual fields, the same number of key strengths, one limitations block, and one identically labelled company link. It carries no promotional language and no design emphasis that the other entries do not also receive.
  • No additional calls-to-action pointing exclusively to Paranoid Security appear elsewhere on this site beyond the standard company link included in every profile.

Sourcing Standards

Profiles are built from publicly available sources: company websites, press releases, independent accreditation registries (such as CREST's public member directory), analyst publications (Gartner, Forrester, Frost & Sullivan), and, where available, direct correspondence with the company. We do not reproduce another publication's original reporting verbatim; factual claims are independently verified against primary or authoritative sources where possible.

Corrections Policy

If a company identifies a factual error in its profile — an outdated headcount, an incorrect founding year, a service the company no longer offers — we will review the correction against current public sources and update the profile promptly. Requests for the removal of accurately reported limitations, or for promotional language not consistent with our format, will not be accommodated. Corrections can be submitted via our contact page.

Update Cadence

Not a live ranking

The ranking and individual profiles are reviewed periodically to reflect changes in the market: new entrants, acquisitions, changes in service scope, or updated accreditation status. This is not a real-time or continuously live ranking; each profile reflects the most recent review date, and readers evaluating a provider for an active procurement decision should verify current details directly with the company.

Advertising

This site does not sell sponsored placements, paid badges, or "verified" status within the ranking itself. Any advertising on the site, if present, is clearly separated from editorial content and does not influence ranking placement or profile content.
