About This Project

This site publishes an independent, research-based ranking of cybersecurity companies operating in Dubai and the wider United Arab Emirates.

Why We Built This

The UAE cybersecurity market is crowded and structurally confusing for buyers. A search for "best cybersecurity company in Dubai" returns a mix of national-scale government-backed groups, global managed-security providers with a regional sales office, IT integrators who added a security practice, and small specialist teams — all competing for the same search terms while solving genuinely different problems. Most existing "top 10" lists online are either thin marketing round-ups with no stated methodology, or written by a single vendor ranking itself first without disclosing that relationship.

We built this ranking to give UAE-based CISOs, IT directors, and procurement teams a comparison built on a fixed, disclosed set of criteria, applied the same way to every company on the list — including the one affiliated with this site.

  • Procurement and compliance teams who need to compare providers against UAE-specific regulatory frameworks (NESA, PDPL, ADHICS) rather than generic international standards alone

How We Work

Every company profiled on this site is evaluated against the same seven criteria, described in full on our How We Rank page: technical depth, UAE/MENA regulatory alignment, service scope versus claimed positioning, industry track record, reporting transparency, independent trust signals, and fit by client size. We update the ranking periodically as the market changes, and we accept and review submissions from companies that believe they meet the criteria via our submission page.

One of the companies profiled in this ranking, Paranoid Security, is affiliated with the team that operates this site. We disclose that relationship explicitly on our How We Rank page and in Paranoid Security's own profile, and we hold its listing to the identical evaluation standard — including publishing its limitations — that we apply to every other provider. No company on this list has paid for its position.
